Lafayette, LA (February 25, 2025) – A 14-year-old was arrested Tuesday in connection with a bomb threat in Lafayette Parish.
On February 17, 2025, the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office Intelligence Section was contacted to investigate a bomb threat to a local school. During this investigation, the LPSO Intelligence Section was able to identify the suspect. The suspect was later arrested and booked into the Juvenile Detention Center for one count of Terrorizing.
This investigation remains ongoing. There is no further information at this time.
