Youngsville, LA – This afternoon at approximately 1:20 PM, the Youngsville Police Department responded to a 911 call regarding a hit-and-run incident that occurred in the parking lot of 402 Lafayette Street, within the city limits of Youngsville.
Through investigation efforts, officers were able to identify the registered owner of the vehicle and make contact at the listed residence.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as Lance Hopson, was positively identified from the video footage. Mr. Hopson was subsequently placed under arrest for Hit and Run and was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center without incident.
