Youngsville, LA (December 8, 2025) – On Sunday, December 7, 2025, at approximately 1600 hours, the Youngsville Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the vicinity of Cage Wagon Drive within the Youngsville city limits.
Upon arrival, officers located a juvenile who had sustained a gunshot wound to the hand. The victim was treated on scene and transported for medical evaluation.
During the course of the investigation, evidence was obtained indicating the juvenile’s involvement in criminal activity related to the incident. On December 8, 2025, the juvenile was subsequently booked into juvenile detention.
This remains an active investigation. No additional information will be released at this time.
