Ambassador Caffery Bridge over the Vermilion River Upcoming Closure

LAFAYETTE, LA (May 13, 2024) – LA 3073 (Ambassador Caffery) bridge over the Vermilion River will be closed on Sunday, May 19, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., weather permitting.

This closure is necessary to allow crews to perform routine bridge maintenance repairs.

Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to drive cautiously and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
