LAFAYETTE, LA (Apr. 12, 2024) – The I-10 westbound entrance and exit ramps at Exit 100 (Ambassador Caffery Pkwy) will have lane closures beginning Wednesday, April 17, 2024, until Friday, April 19, 2024, weather permitting.
Both ramps will remain closed during the following work hours.
- Wednesday, April 17, 2024: 8 p.m. – 6 a.m.
- Thursday, April 18, 2024: 8 p.m. – 6 a.m.
The ramp closures are necessary to allow crews to perform milling and paving operations for the I-10 ramp.
DETOURS
The following detours will be in place for motorists.
Traveling on I-10 Westbound to Access Ambassador Caffery: Continue on I-10 westbound to Exit 97 (LA 93: Scott-Cankton), travel south on LA 97, and then take I-10 eastbound back to Exit 100 (US 167/LA 3184: Ambassador Caffery Pkwy).
Traveling on US 167/LA 3184 (Ambassador Caffery Pkwy) to Access I-10 Westbound: Take I-10 eastbound to Exit 101 (LA 182: University Ave), travel north on LA 182, and then take I-10 westbound back to I-10 Exit 100 (US 167/LA 3184: Ambassador Caffery Pkwy).
EMERGENCY ACCESS AND RESTRICTIONS
Emergency vehicles will not have access to the westbound entranced and exit ramps at Exit 103A (LA 182/US 90: Morgan City).
There will be no vehicle width restrictions with this work.
