I-10 WB Entrance & Exit Ramps at Exits 103A and 103B Ramp Closures

LAFAYETTE, LA (Apr. 12, 2024) – The I-10 westbound entrance and exit ramps at Exit 103A (LA 182/US 90 Morgan City) and Exit 103B (North I-49/US 167: Opelousas) will have lane closures beginning Sunday, April 14, 2024, until Tuesday, April 16, 2024, weather permitting.

Both ramps will remain closed during the following work hours.

  • Wednesday, April 17: 8 p.m. – 6 a.m.
  • Thursday, April 18: 8 p.m. – 6 a.m.

The ramp closures are necessary to allow crews to perform milling and paving operations for the I-10 ramp.

DETOURS
The following detours will be in place for motorists.

Traveling on I-10 Westbound to Access Exit 103A: Continue on I-10 westbound to Exit 101 (LA 182/University Avenue), travel south on LA 182, and then take I-10 eastbound back to Exit 103A (LA 182/US 90 – Morgan City).

Traveling north Interstate 49 to Access I-10 Westbound Exit 1B (Lake Charles): Take I-49 northbound to Exit 2 (LA 98: Gloria Switch Road), travel west on LA 98, and then take I-49 southbound back to I-10 westbound Exit 1B (Lake Charles).

EMERGENCY ACCESS AND RESTRICTIONS
Emergency vehicles will not be able to access the westbound entrance and exit ramps at Exit 103A (LA 182/US 90: Morgan City).

There will be no vehicle width restrictions with this work.
