UPDATE: DELAY
LAFAYETTE, LA (Apr. 16, 2024) – The closure of the Lajaunie Road Bridge between Maryview Farm Road and E. Gloria Switch Road will be delayed for approximately seven months. Lafayette Consolidated Government previously issued a notice about the closure beginning on April 17, 2024, but that date has been pushed back to January 1, 2025.

LAFAYETTE, LA (Apr. 15, 2024) – The Lajaunie Road Bridge between Maryview Farm Road and E. Gloria Switch Road will be closed for construction beginning April 17, 2024, and is expected to last approximately nine months. Detour signs will be posted.
The detour route when approaching from the south of the bridge will be Maryview Farm Road, E. Butcher Switch Road, 1-49 Frontage Road, Hector Connoly Road, Beau Bassin Road, E. Gloria Switch Road.
The detour route when approaching from the north of the bridge will be East Gloria Switch Road, Beau Bassin Road, Hector Connoly Road, I-49 Frontage Road, E. Butcher Switch Road, Maryview Farm Road.
