Lafayette, LA (March 28, 2025) – Lafayette Consolidated Government’s Traffic, Roads, and Bridges Department announces the extension of the temporary closure of Frem Boustany Drive between Meadow Farm Drive and Lake Farm Road. Originally scheduled to reopen on March 14, the closure will now remain in effect through April 11, 2025.
This extension is necessary to complete the construction of left-turn lanes within the median on Frem Boustany Drive as part of the Ambassador Town Home development.

- Crescent Ranch Boulevard
- Lake Farm Road
Motorists are encouraged to use caution, follow posted detour signs, and allow extra travel time when traveling in the area.
