BROUSSARD, LA (December 2, 2024) – According to Broussard’s Mayor Ray Bourque, the bridge on South Bernard Road between Main Street and Highway 90 will be opened in January 2025.

BROUSSARD, La. (Feb. 29, 2024) – The City of Broussard announced that South Bernard Road, between Main Street and Highway 90, will be closed starting Monday, March 4, 2024, for bridge replacement. There will be no through traffic, but local traffic will have access.
Motorists are advised to adjust their route accordingly. Construction to replace the bridge will last approximately three to four months.
