Thanks to a new initiative with the University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s College of Engineering, the Ramageddon Robotics team is one-step closer to competing in this year’s FIRST Robotics Competition.

UPDATE: Boil Water Advisory In Effect for Select Schools

A boil water advisory has been issued for certain areas, including J. Wallace James Elementary School, Carencro High School, Live Oak Elementary School, J.W. Faulk Elementary School, David Thibodaux STEM Magnet Academy, Evangeline Elementary School, Acadian Middle School, Northside High School, Truman Elementary School, and Alice Boucher Elementary School.

LPSS Resumes School on January 18, 2024

After closely monitoring weather and road conditions and thoroughly assessing all facilities, the Lafayette Parish School System (LPSS) has announced the resumption of regular operations.
