Broussard, Louisiana, May 23, 2023:
On May 14, 2023 at approximately 2:45 PM, Officers with the Broussard Police Department responded to the 200 Block of Alley 2 for the report of someone being shot.
Officers responded and assisted the victim. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he is continuing to recover.
On May 23, 2023, Kenry Green, a black male, 44 years of age was taken into custody without incident.
Green was arrested and charged with Attempted Second Degree Murder and booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center.
