Lafayette, LA – Regarding the ATM robbery at Capital One Bank last Friday, November 3, 2023, two suspects have been arrested. Jermaine Clay, forty, of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, has been arrested and charged with one count of principal to simple robbery. Daquaylon Williams, twenty-two, also of Breaux Bridge, has been arrested and charged with simple robbery. Both suspects were arrested without incident and booked into Lafayette Parish Correctional Center. The investigation is still ongoing.
The Capital One Bank location where the ATM robbery was held is 4416 Ambassador Caffery Parkway in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Lafayette, LA – On November 3, 2023, at 10:25 a.m., The Lafayette Police Department responded to 4416 Ambassador Caffery Parkway regarding a robbery in progress. This location is Capitol One Bank. Upon arrival, it was determined that an ATM technician was conducting maintenance on an ATM at the location when the technician was approached by two unarmed black males traveling on foot. The two suspects then proceeded to rob the ATM of an undisclosed amount of US paper currency (money). The suspects then fled the scene in an unknown direction of travel.
Investigators were called out to the scene and are actively working to develop leads. An update shall be provided as leads are determined.
