LAFAYETTE LA – The Lafayette Police Department (LPD) announced the launch of its mobile app. The app can be downloaded by going into the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and typing in Lafayette Police Department. On the Lafayette Police Department’s Facebook there is a QR code. Scanning the QR code will enable the app to download as well.
The app will advance community relations by streamlining communication from LPD to the public while maintaining transparency. In the future, the app will be utilized to disseminate upcoming events that LPD is involved with, public service announcements, awareness bulletins, news releases, and various other items of expected information.
