Krewe de Acadian is having its first Mardi Gras Ball on January 20, 2024. According to the Executive Directors of Krewe de Acadian Charles Sharma and Benjamin Latiolais, tickets for the ball have been sold out since December 3, 2023. Sharma said, “It is unprecedented for a Mardi Gras Ball to be sold out so quickly, especially for a newly established Krewe”.

The ball is a black tie, formal dress affair with Bobby Novosad in the Mix. Chris Logan from Planet Radio and Mr. Mardi Gras John Weatherall are special guests.

Based in Broussard, Louisiana, Krewe de Acadian is a local non-profit social club established in 2023. The Krewe aims to build community events in a fun and inclusive social atmosphere.
