The Broussard Police has been providing tips in preventing crime to you and your property. It is advised you do the following things before turning in for the night:

Check for suspicious activity around your home.
Remove purses, guns, phones and any valuables from your vehicle.
Lock your vehicle doors.
Close your garage door.
Turn on an outside light.
Lock all of the doors on your home.
If needed, call 911.
