LAFAYETTE, La. (Jan. 24, 2024) – St. Landry Bank & Trust Company (SLB) is excited to announce the Grand Re-Opening of its Lafayette Branch at 3710 Ambassador CafferyPlease join us in celebrating on Friday, February 2, 2024, at 9:00 am with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and refreshments.  What a terrific opportunity to meet our staff and learn about our history, lines of business, and investment in the local communities we serve.  Beignet Box has been contracted to be onsite and serve up sweet treats for this celebration.

SLB has been serving Lafayette and surrounding communities since 1990, when we stepped in to serve customers of a failed banking institution.  Before COVID, our staff was reduced, and our Lafayette Branch operated solely as a drive-through, therefore offering limited lines of business.  We are excited to announce that our branch will fully reopen to the public and offer our full range of products and services.

We are excited to introduce Karen Pierre, Branch Manager and Loan Officer; Andre Higginbotham, Chief Lending Officer; and new tellers and customer service representatives.

We cannot wait to welcome our existing customers back into our branch and look forward to strengthening existing relationships and building new connections that contribute to the financial security of families and small businesses and foster growth through local reinvestment.” -Robbie Tomlinson, CEO
