A ribbon-cutting ceremony occurred on January 25, 2024, at FiREWiRE Audio and Video in downtown Youngsville, Louisiana. Following the ceremony, a social event called Sweet Life After 5 was held through the Youngsville Chamber of Commerce.

FiREWiRE is a company that offers audio, video, security, surveillance, and automation services. Lance Morgan founded it in 2015.

After purchasing the old Woodmen of the World (WOW) building, Morgan and his wife have been operating FiREWiRE in the building. Since then, remodeling work has been done.

According to Morgan, the WOW building is more than a century old. The building has gone through multiple transformations since the Morgans purchased the building. Air conditioning has been installed, most of the ceiling has been opened to reveal the wooden beams and larger windows have been added, along with glass double doors at the front entrance. The open space has been divided into several areas using brick walls, out of which two offices will have glass walls.

FiREWire is located at 306 Church Street in Youngsville, Louisiana. For more information on FiREWiRE, visit its website.
