BROUSSARD, LA (Mar. 21, 2024) – The Broussard Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the appointment of Lacey Viator as its new Interim President and CEO. With experience in the nonprofit sector, extensive knowledge of financials and budgets, as well as community engagement, Viator is poised to lead the Chamber into a new era of growth and prosperity.
“We want to thank Stacey Romero for her years of service to the Broussard Chamber of Commerce and Broussard Community,” Chair of the BCOC Board of Directors, Mallory Comeaux Hutchinson, said. “We wish her luck in her future endeavors.”
Viator brings over seven years of experience to her role, having previously served as Vice President of Operations for the Broussard Chamber of Commerce. In this role, she managed financials, event planning, participated in professional development, and completed a four-year course to become IOM (The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organization Management) certified.
Viator’s commitment to the Broussard Chamber of Commerce makes her an ideal fit to guide the Chamber through this transitional period.
