LAFAYETTE, LA (Mar. 26, 2024) – Lafayette Consolidated Government and the Louisiana Fair Housing Action Center are hosting a comprehensive workshop featuring esteemed speaker Moe Moore on April 4, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Clifton Chenier Auditorium, 220 West Willow Street, Lafayette, Louisiana, to promote awareness and education on fair housing practices.
The Fair Housing Workshop aims to equip attendees with essential knowledge regarding fair housing laws, rights, and responsibilities. Through engaging discussions and informative sessions, participants will gain insights into the importance of fair housing, the historical context and purpose of the Fair Housing Act, its basic principles, protections provided for individuals with disabilities, an understanding of protected classes, and covered dwellings and transactions.
Moe Moore, a distinguished expert in fair housing practices, will lead the workshop, providing attendees with valuable expertise and practical insights.
