Women Arrested for Altercation on 2600 Block of Mills Street

LAFAYETTE, LA (Apr. 9, 2024) – Two women were arrested following an altercation in the 2600 block of Mills Street on Saturday night.

Kavon Bernard, 26, and Passionelle Gerard, 24, were arrested as a result of the altercation, in which multiple shots were fired.

Bernard is charged with Attempted Second Degree Murder in this case; Gerard has been charged with Aggravated Second Degree Battery stemming from the incident.

This case remains under investigation. No further information is available at this time.
