Archie Joseph, a resident of Loreauville, Louisiana, was declared the winner of the first cookoff he participated in. The cookoff was the Bringing You Our Burgers (BYOB) Cookoff, held at Stine Home + Yard in Broussard, Louisiana, and organized by Krewe de Acadian and Krewe La Vie Doux.
During the cookoff, Joseph said he received compliments from many attendees, telling him his burgers were the best.
Joseph has perfected his burgers and wants others to taste them. He operates FingaLickin5s, a business specializing in burgers and hibachi, using his flat-top grill.
Joseph has always enjoyed cooking for his family. In 2014, while in college, he started cooking for others. His parents cooked, with his mother cooking at Tiger Inn in Loreauville for many years.
