Endorsement of Higgins by Speaker Mike Johnson
LAFAYETTE, LA (May 20, 2024) – Congressman Clay Higgins (LA-03), who is seeking reelection in Louisiana’s 3rd District, announced today that he has received the endorsement of Speaker Mike Johnson (LA-04).
“Rep. Clay Higgins has dedicated his life in service to his fellow man, in the military, in law enforcement, and in the U.S. Congress,” said Speaker Johnson. “From working to secure our border on Homeland Security, holding the Biden administration accountable on Oversight, and leading on so many important issues, Rep. LAFAYETTE, LA (May 18, 2024) – Congressman Clay Higgins (LA-03), who is seeking reelection in Louisiana’s 3rd District, announced today that he has received the endorsement of House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (LA-01).
“I am proud to endorse my friend Clay Higgins. We have worked together for nearly eight years on important issues for our state, and he has my full support,” said House Majority Leader Steve Scalise. “Clay has been a leader in the fight to secure our southern border, and is a strong advocate for the issues facing South Louisiana.
