Broussard Took 2nd Place in Cleanest City Contest

BROUSSARD, LA (May 21, 2024) – Broussard Mayor Ray Bourque announced that the City of Broussard, Louisiana, recently won 2nd Place in the Cleanest City Contest 2024, awarded by the Louisiana Garden Club Federation (LGCF). This recognition establishes Broussard as one of the cleanest cities in Louisiana.

Bourque stated, “I appreciate the dedication by our residents and businesses, civic organizations, Public Works employees, Parks and Recreation staff, and Parish Proud for your commitment to making our great city a beautiful place to live.”

According to the LGCF website, the organization is “a non-profit organization bringing together the garden clubs of Louisiana through Education, Beautification, and Conservation.”
