LAFAYETTE, LA (July 5, 2024) – On July 03, 2024, the Lafayette Police Department Narcotics Unit conducted an undercover operation in the 200 block of Highland Oaks Lane. As a result, agents recovered approximately 113 pounds of high-grade marijuana with an estimated street value of $1,028,600.00.
Arrested and booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center were Gregory Chaisson, 63, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and Blade Chaisson, 30, of Lafayette, Louisiana. Both suspects were charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana. The investigation is ongoing.
