Starting July 13, 2024, the Broussard Fire Department (BFD) will be in area neighborhoods to help residents Beat the Heat. The firefighters are ready to soak you and ask you to bring your Water-War-A-Game. BFD will have water guns, or you can bring your own.

- Monday, July 15, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. – Ella Trace
- Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. – Mon Jardin
- Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. – Lexi Falls, Sugar Trace
- Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 3 p.m – Sable Palms 2
- Sunday, July 21, 2024 at 5 p.m. – Sable Palms 3
- Monday, July 22, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. – The Reserve
