LAFAYETTE, LA (August 21, 2024) – Lafayette Utilities System (LUS) will begin sewer manhole rehabilitation at the 3100 block of Ambassador Caffery Parkway. As a result, a right lane closure is scheduled from Monday, August 26 to Thursday, August 29, 2024, with expected working hours from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
To avoid potential traffic delays, motorists who frequent the affected area are advised to use an alternate route or to incorporate additional time into their schedules. In addition, motorists are urged to be mindful of worker safety when traveling through this area.
