Broussard Council Awards Bid; Amendment to Code of Ordinances

At the Broussard City Council meeting on September 10, 2024, the council approved awarding Southern Coating, LLC, which provided a bid of $907,000.00 to rehabilitate the Main Street and Highway 90 water towers. The water towers will display the city’s name in a different font, possibly accompanied by artwork.

The council approved a cooperative endeavor agreement with Crime Fighters of Louisiana, LLC. This agreement entails a subscription service contract with Crime Fighters of Louisiana. Stuller, Inc. donated $200,000.00 to the city to fund this subscription.

Ordinance #24-808, regarding peddlers, solicitors, and vendors, was approved, adding Sections 62-103 to the Code of Ordinances. The Ordinance is shown below as a PDF.
