DOTD announces I-10 westbound open from I-49 to Louisiana/Texas state line
Baton Rouge, LA (January 22, 2025, 2:44 p.m.) – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that Interstate 10 in the westbound direction is now open from the Interstate 49 interchange to the Louisiana/Texas state line.
DOTD crews will continue to monitor state bridges and roadways.

Baton Rouge, LA (January 22, 2025) – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that due to deteriorating road conditions as a result of Winter Storm Enzo, Interstate 10 in the east and westbound direction is now closed to motorists, from the Louisiana/Texas state line to Baton Rouge, effective immediately.
Motorists are encouraged to avoid traveling on roadways unless absolutely necessary.
DOTD crews will continue to monitor state bridges and roadways.
