Youngsville, LA (June 14, 2025, 3:38 p.m.) – The suspect’s name is Zachary Segura. He was transported and booked into the Lafayette Parish Correction Center (LPCC) for one count of Negligent injury.

Youngsville, LA (June 14, 2025) – At approximately 11 p.m. last night, the Youngsville Police Department responded to reports of someone who was shot in a vehicle at the intersection of Lafayette Street ( Youngsville Highway) and Copper Meadows Blvd.
Upon arrival, officers discovered that one female victim sustained a single gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is in stable condition at this time. The male suspect is being charged and booked at Lafayette Parish Correctional Center. No further information currently.
