Group from St. Landry Parish Arrested in Rash of Vehicle Burglaries in Lafayette Parish

Lafayette Parish, LA (December 24, 2025) – Christopher Kimble, 21, of Opelousas; Kaleb Cormier, 17, of Opelousas; Khrystian Kimble, 17, of Sunset; and Jayden Myers, 19, of Opelousas are facing vehicle burglary charges stemming from a rash of vehicle burglaries in Lafayette Parish.

On December 23, 2025, deputies were alerted to the above-listed suspects committing vehicle burglaries in a neighborhood near the 2900 block of Mills Street in unincorporated Lafayette. When deputies arrived in the area and as the investigation unfolded, detectives were able to link the suspects to the reported vehicle burglaries.

All four suspects were later booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on five counts each of vehicle burglary.

As this case remains under investigation, no further details are being released at this time.

All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
