Youngsville, LA (April 2, 2026) – Youngsville students selected as Student of the Year (SOY) were recognized this morning during a special celebration at Huya Craft Coffee.
Each honoree was escorted by the Youngsville Police Department in a limousine ride to the event, where they were treated to breakfast and presented with certificates in recognition of their achievements.
Students and their schools are listed below:
- Ava Alleman – 5th Grade, Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy (ARCA) Elementary
- Luciano Marin – 8th Grade, Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy (ARCA) Middle School
- Kylee Broussard – 12th Grade, Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy (ARCA) High School
- Eva Domingue – 5th Grade, Green T. Lindon Elementary
- Romie Moss – 5th Grade, Ernest Gallet Elementary
- Taylor Watkins – 8th Grade, Youngsville Middle School
- Ava Louviere – 12th Grade, Southside High School
The event highlighted the students’ hard work, dedication, and accomplishments throughout the school year, celebrating them among peers, educators, and community members.
The celebration was organized and hosted by Nicholas Niland, Youngsville City Council Member for Division D, as a way to recognize and encourage student achievement across the city.
