Lafayette, LA (April 9, 2026) – On March 31, 2026, the Lafayette Police Narcotics Unit and Street Team executed a targeted narcotics operation in the 2000 block of West Pinhook Road. Following the execution of a search warrant, officers seized approximately 168 pounds of marijuana with an estimated street value of $1,522,440.
Two individuals were taken into custody during the operation: Billy Shi (38, of Oklahoma City, OK) and Jeffery Weston (48, of Marlow, OK). Both suspects were transported to the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center and booked on related charges.
