Lafayette, LA (April 21, 2026) – Residents ages forty-five and older with a history of heart disease, a family history of heart disease, or risk factors for developing heart disease are invited to participate in free heart health screenings scheduled for Saturday, May 30.
The screenings will be held from eight a.m. to noon at Our Lady of Lourdes Heart Hospital, located at 1105 Kaliste Saloom Road in Lafayette.
Available screenings include glucose testing, blood pressure checks, body mass index measurements, electrocardiograms, and echocardiograms with ejection fraction evaluation. Medical providers will be on site to review results with participants and discuss any recommended next steps.
Space is limited, and advance registration is required. The registration deadline is five p.m. Wednesday, May 27.
