Youngsville Mayor Ken Ritter advises those setting up for the Youngsville Mardi Gras parade route may not do so before 5 a.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2023.

Ritter goes on to state “staking city medians, sidewalks, and road right of ways (area generally between telephone poles and the street) is strictly prohibited. This interferes with regular city maintenance and parade setup of barricades, port-o lets, etc. Any personal items, along the parade route on public property, before 6 a.m. on the morning of the parade are subject to immediate removal.”
