Youngsville Mayor Ken Ritter announced this morning that the sewer pump station #3 upgrade and downtown streetscape project is substantially complete. Ritter added, “This project completes the largest infrastructure reinvestment in the heart of our city ever”.
Included in the project:
- Sewer capacity increased for expanded economic development
- Asphalt overlay on Lafayette, Church, School, Bank, and Jacque Streets
- New landscaping on Church Street
- Additional sidewalks
- Improved parking
- Better drainage
- More street lighting
- Lafayette Street widened
Funding was in part by the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) Louisiana Clean Water State Revolving Fund Program Project No. CS-221129-04 and American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grants.
