Youngsville Project Complete

Youngsville Mayor Ken Ritter announced this morning that the sewer pump station #3 upgrade and downtown streetscape project is substantially complete. Ritter added, “This project completes the largest infrastructure reinvestment in the heart of our city ever”.

Included in the project:

  • Sewer capacity increased for expanded economic development
  • Asphalt overlay on Lafayette, Church, School, Bank, and Jacque Streets
  • New landscaping on Church Street
  • Additional sidewalks
  • Improved parking
  • Better drainage
  • More street lighting
  • Lafayette Street widened

Funding was in part by the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) Louisiana Clean Water State Revolving Fund Program Project No. CS-221129-04 and American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grants.
