YOUNGSVILLE, LA (October 18, 2024) – Ruck & Run For Heroes is a 10K Ruck or Fun Run loop course to raise money for the Acadiana Veteran Alliance.
The run, which is a collaboration between Acadiana Veteran Alliance, Southside Runners, and the City of Youngsville, will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2024.
This is a non-timed 10k loop course starting and ending at Veterans Park in Youngsville. Participants can choose to run/walk the course or carry a rucksack or backpack and do a military-style ruck along the way.
The event’s goal is to highlight the best of Youngsville, Veterans Park, and serve as a reminder on Veterans Day of the service and sacrifice that our Veterans and current military perform every day of the year.
