In April 2024, two cook-offs will occur in the City of Broussard – the Inaugural Hamburger Cookoff and the Beausoleil Festival & Jambalaya Cookoff.
Inaugural Hamburger Cookoff – April 13, 2024
The first cookoff is the Inaugural Hamburger Cookoff being held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Stine Home +Yard parking lot in Broussard. The cookoff is being organized by Krewe de Acadian and Krewe La Vie Doux. Proceeds of the event will be donated to area fire departments.

Second Annual Beausoleil Festival & Jambalaya Cookoff – April 20, 2024
The second cookoff is the Second Annual Beausoleil Festival and Jambalaya Cookoff, which will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Arceneaux Park, 835 East Main Street in Broussard. The Broussard Chamber of Commerce is organizing the festival and cookoff.
