YOUNGSVILLE, LA – Sunshine, local flavors, and community spirit made for the perfect Saturday morning as the Youngsville Chamber of Commerce hosted the Inaugural Youngsville Farmers Market on April 12, 2025, at Foster Park. Held from 8 a.m. to noon, the market welcomed shoppers with a vibrant mix of vendors, a food truck, and plenty of smiles.

The weather couldn’t have been better—clear skies and a gentle breeze made it the ideal day to stroll the park, browse local goods, and support small businesses. A steady stream of shoppers created a lively atmosphere, and according to one vendor, “it was a record-breaking day for their business.”

There was truly something for everyone, with a great mix of local makers and small businesses offering unique items and handcrafted goods. The variety of vendors brought a fun and creative energy to the market, and shoppers were eager to explore each booth. I had the chance to try something new myself—one of Nina Cerole’s famous eggrolls. I went for the buffalo chicken flavor, and let me tell you—it was absolutely delicious. Safe to say it won’t be my last!

If you missed out this time, don’t worry—the Youngsville Farmers Market will now be held on the second Saturday of each month at Foster Park. It’s a wonderful way to support local vendors, connect with neighbors, and enjoy a Saturday morning.
