Meet the Author and Cartoonist: Robin Ha

Join us for a fun afternoon with Robin Ha, author and illustrator of Almost American Girl, which won the Louisiana Teen Readers’ Choice Award for 2022-2023! She will share her personal journey from a comics-obsessed girl in South Korea to a best-selling graphic novelist in America. A book signing will follow the author talk. Ages 12 & up.

Circus School with Sky Craft

Build strength, flexibility, confidence, and body awareness with Sky Craft! Activities will include aerial skills, creative movement, juggling, balance skills, and circus stories. Ages 3–12; Registration is required.

Kits will include most of the supplies you’ll need and instructions. Available at the Main Library Makerspace during open access hours, while supplies last. Ages 13 & up.

Solar Eclipse Viewing at the Library

Join us the day of the 2023 annular eclipse to pick up a free pair of protective glasses, while supplies last, to safely view this stellar phenomenon! The eclipse begins at 10:30 am and will peak just before noon. All Ages.
