The Acadiana Veterans Honor Guard (AVHG) honors United States military veterans, their families, and the United States of America.
AVHG was established in 2014 to address the need of providing every honorably discharged veteran in Acadiana (Southwest Louisiana) with military funeral honors. The group provides military funerals, flag ceremonies, flag folding, 21 gun salute, taps, casket watch, memorials and dedications. Flag presentations for veteran events are also provided.
All AVHG services are free to veterans and their families.
