During the Broussard City Council meeting held tonight, Charles Sharma and Ben Latiolais presented a $650 check to Broussard Fire Chief Bryan Champagne on behalf of Krewe de Acadian of Brousssard and Krewe La Vie Doux of Youngsville, respectively.
The two Krewes collaborated on a hamburger cookoff on April 13, 2024, and donated the proceeds to local fire departments. The Youngsville Fire Department received a $650 donation from the Krewes, and the Milton Fire Department received $650. (NOTE: photos show $500, but they were given $650).
