Youngsville, La (May 13, 2025)— The Rotary Club of Youngsville announced the recipients of their 2025 Scholarship, awarding a total of $15,000 to ten outstanding students who demonstrated exceptional academic achievement, leadership, and community service.
Now in its third year, the Rotary Club of Youngsville Scholarship Program continues to grow, with this year marking the highest number of scholarships awarded to date. Each student received a $1,500 scholarship to support their continuing education as they prepare to attend colleges across the state.
From high GPAs and ACT scores to countless hours of volunteer service, the students are a testament to the bright future of our community. The Rotary Club of Youngsville is honored to invest in them and their future.
Among this year’s scholarship recipients are:
- Madison Broussard – Catholic High New Iberia (Class of 2024, currently attends LSU)
- Annie Boudreaux – Ascension Episcopal School
- Caitlin Davis – Early College Academy
- Caiden Duhon – Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy High School
- Anna Hicks – Ascension Episcopal School
- Carter Holmes – Southside High School
- Reese Holmes – Southside High School
- Connor Kelso – Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy High School
- Reed Ramos – Southside High School
- Cole Ritter – Southside High School
In a special ceremony held at their respective schools, the recipients were recognized by club members. The award presentations also included remarks from Matt Romero, a member of the Rotary Scholarship Committee, who emphasized the importance of service to the community.
