Governor Landry Announces New Chief Information Officer for OTS

Baton Rouge, LA (February 5, 2025) – Governor Landry announced Evelina Broussard as the new Chief Information Officer for the Office of Technology Services (OTS). Over the past 30 years, she has dedicated her career to the field of Information Technology while focusing on people and relationships.

“We are excited to announce that Evelina Broussard is the Chief Information officer for OTS,” said Governor Landry. “I have no doubt that Evelina will work tirelessly to make sure that Louisiana’s programs are well-structured and highly effective.” 

“We all have the same goal, and that is to make this state as safe and efficient as possible,” said Evelina Broussard. “We are all One Team. OTS is here to support our state agencies. I look forward to working and growing with each and every one of you.” 

Background:

Evelina Broussard is a lifelong Louisiana resident, born and raised in St. Martin Parish. For the last 28 years, she led the IT department for the Louisiana division of Atmos Energy as the Manager of Information Technology. She was responsible for leading end-user technology, telecommunications, IT department finances, change management, new program rollouts, and project management. She served as the Atmos Energy representative for the Louisiana Research and Development Consortium since 2016. Over her career, she was a vital part of enterprise teams that made software, hardware and process improvement decisions.  Evelina has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
