Blake Miguez formally announced his candidacy for Louisiana State Senate District 22 during his campaign kick-off event last night. The announcement was made at Pat’s Atchafalaya Club in Henderson, Louisiana. State Senate District 22 represents parts of Iberia, Lafayette, and St. Martin Parishes.

Since 2015, Miguez has held the seat of District 49 in the Louisiana State House of Representatives. District 49 represents Iberia and Vermilion parishes.

Miguez is a resident of New Iberia, Louisiana.

The primary election is on October 14, 2023.
