Broussard, LA (May 18, 2025) – The Broussard Police Department held a sausage po’boy sale today at City Hall to raise funds for the wife of one of its detectives. The proceeds from this fundraiser will help cover medical expenses for cancer treatments for Melissa Rankin, the wife of Detective Currie Rankin.
Each sausage po’boy came with a bag of chips and a soft drink.
The fundraising event occurred today at Broussard City Hall, 310 East Main Street.
