Superintendent Touchet emphasized the district’s zero-tolerance policy for misconduct at any school event. “The Comeaux High School administration has investigated the fight that occurred after Friday night’s football game at North Vermilion High. The team will forfeit their upcoming game against St. Thomas More, and those players involved will face disciplinary action. Let me be clear: Unsportsmanlike behavior and misconduct will not be tolerated at any of our schools or during extracurricular activities. Students who choose to engage in such actions will face serious consequences.”

The Lafayette Parish School District remains committed to fostering a safe and respectful environment for all students and athletes.
