Youngsville, LA (Feburary 4, 2026) – Youngsville Mayor Ken Ritter provides the following update on the South Larriviere project:
“This work is part of continued infrastructure improvements planned to support growth, improve drainage, and strengthen this corridor for the long term.
Work completed or currently in progress includes subsurface drainage installation, curbing, and select fill placement to raise the northbound lane.
Looking ahead, crews will continue fill and base work on the northbound lane, subsurface drainage on the southbound lane, preparation for two bridge replacements, and asphalt paving.
The roadway remains southbound only at this time. A full closure will be required when bridge replacements occur, and advance notice will be provided.
