YOUNGSVILLE, LA (October 3, 2024) – Last evening, Concerned Citizens of Youngsville (CCY) held a candidate town hall for the public to hear from the Youngsville Police Chief candidates.
CCY defines its group as a “Group of dedicated citizens of the City of Youngsville. Our sole focus is engaging the community with those seeking office within the City of Youngsville.”
Jean-Paul “JP” Broussard, Cody Louviere, and Matthew Thomassee are the candidates for Youngsville Police Chief. Broussard emailed the CCY organizers yesterday afternoon to advise them that he could not attend due to complications from a recent surgery.
The forum was structured as a questions-and-answers session rather than a debate, with questions coming from various sources, including organizers, the audience, and viewers on Facebook Live.
Non-Youngsville resident Jonathan Pearce was the moderator for the town hall meeting.
