BPD’s “Shop with a Cop”

BROUSSARD, LA (December 14, 2024) – Officers from the Broussard Police Department (BPD) took a group of children on a holiday gift-shopping spree today at the Wal-Mart in Broussard as part of their “Shop with a Cop” event. Eight children, selected based on their needs from local Broussard elementary schools, participated in the outing.

Each child received a $200 gift card to Shop with a Cop and also received a holiday meal for their family.

Broussard Police Chief Vance Olivier and Mayor Ray Bourque attended the event. This event was made possible by donations from BPD officers.
