BROUSSARD, LA (January 8, 2025) – On January 8, 2025, Investigators with the Broussard Police Department responded to the 100 block of Lantana Court for an investigation related to a complaint of animal cruelty.
Investigators and assistance from the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team and Lafayette Animal Control served a search warrant and an arrest warrant where Jason Rabino, a 49-year-old white male, was arrested. Robino was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on the charge of Aggravated Cruelty to Animals.
